Stress Management with Aromatherapy

Class size: up to 20 pax per session

In this workshop, participants can learn how to identify what is stress and how aromatherapy can help to manage negative feelings and stress related problems. It also includes an interactive hand-on session to blend your personalised aromatherapeutic lotion with aromatic essential oil recipes.

Dogtors on Call

Class size: up to 20 pax per session

Introducing Dogtors on Call, a programme which involves Caring Canine Team from Animal-Assisted Interaction Singapore (AAISG) to interact and participate in activities with the participants. This science-backed programme aims to improve staff morale and emotional wellbeing, in the hope of helping to prevent burnout and enhance job satisfaction. The presence of four-legged companions offers a therapeutic respite for participants through this workshop.

Love Music, Love Yourself

If you’re experiencing stress, you are not alone. Stress is highly prevalent at our workplaces. It takes a toll on our physical, emotional, and mental health and in turn, affects our productivity in our daily lives. Music can be an effective and therapeutic tool in reducing stress. It helps to promote healing and improve our overall emotional well-being. The best part is, music is always available to anyone who needs it. 

This experiential music workshop aims to provide a safe and therapeutic space for participants to explore the benefits of music for self-expression and self-awareness, and as well as to promote expressions of positive emotions such as joy, curiosity, and hope, through creative music expression and sharing.

Pastel Nagomi Art Intervention in Self-care

Date: 10 Nov 2023, Friday | Time: Session 1 (2pm to 330pm), Session 2  (4pm to 530pm) | Venue: L1-S1

Class size: up to 40 pax per session

Healthcare professionals are often exposed to high levels of stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion due to the nature of their work. This experiential workshop aims to bring healthcare professionals together to explore articulating their inner world and cultivating positive emotions, such as joy, gratitude, and hope, through creative expression. 

Participants will learn to create pastel Nagomi artworks which reflect their strengths, values, and aspirations. It also develops self-compassion, which is the kindness and understanding towards oneself in times of difficulty. At the end of the workshop, participants will bring home their own masterpiece.

Within the high-stress environment of healthcare, maintaining civility is crucial for patient and staff well-being. Participants learn to recognize incivility and acquire practical techniques for responding incivility.

Through interactive discussions and activity, this sessions offers a supportive environment for sharing experiences and equipped with approach to promote respectful interactions in the workplace.

Enhance Well-being and Mindfulness through Virtual Reality

Wild Resilience Games

The Wild Resilience tabletop game empowers players to build resilience, reframe their perceptions and adopt self-regulated behavior when faced with difficult situations in the workplace. The interactive nature of the game promotes connectedness and fosters a safe environment for players to share and gain insights from each other. With this gameplay, we aim to build a more resilient healthcare workforce that can better navigate the challenges of our industry.
