COL Eugene Ng joined the RSAF in January 2002. He was commissioned and awarded the Sword of Honour in 2003. COL Ng currently holds the appointment of Head Air Manpower Department (AMD), in the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

COL Ng is an Air Warfare Officer (Air Traffic Control) by vocation. He has served in various command and staff appointments in the RSAF, including Head RSAF Office of Strategy from August 2018 to June 2020, Commanding Officer of 203 Squadron, and Head Manpower Plans and Policy Branch in AMD.

COL Ng attained a Bachelor (First Class Honours) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of New South Wales in 2006. He attended the Australian Command and Staff Course in 2015, and graduated with a Masters in Military and Defence Studies. In 2020, he was awarded the SAF Postgraduate Award and attained his Masters in Business Administration from the Nanyang Business School’s Nanyang Fellows programme.

For his exemplary service, COL Ng was awarded the SAF Good Service Medal, the SAF Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (10 Years), 15 Years Clasp and SAF Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (20 Years).

COL Ng and his wife, Li Hui, have a daughter Abigail, and a son Noah. During his free time, he enjoys badminton, running, reading, and going out on family outings.
