Mr Philipp has been appointed as the Vice President of Business Development in APAC at AutoStore since November 2021. In his current role, he is responsible for leading operations and overseeing business opportunities in the Asia Pacific region. Philipp helms the Asia Pacific team with a strong vision of driving a change in the future of warehousing. Under his leadership, the Asia Pacific team implemented effective strategies and identify new prospects to sustain the business pipeline. 

Mr Philipp is well-versed in the field of automation and brings with him an extensive track record of strategic transformation in automation and technology companies. He has worked on large-scale projects with multi-national companies, focusing primarily on the Asia Pacific market. 

Prior to AutoStore, he served as Director of Sales APAC for KNAPP AG, where he assisted in pioneering goods-to-person concepts and shuttle technology. He regularly speaks at conferences and seminars about intralogistics automation and smart warehouses. He has been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, FH Joanneum in Graz, Austria, aspiring to nurture young talents. 

Mr Philipp holds a master's degree in international management and an engineering degree in electrical power systems .
