Asst Prof Nicholas Yeo is a fellowship trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of the Foot and Ankle Service at SGH. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School Singapore.

Asst Prof Yeo graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2007. He completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and was appointed as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics and Trauma) in 2015.

Thereafter, Asst Prof Yeo was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Scholarship from the Ministry of Health to pursue subspecialty training in Foot and Ankle surgery. He completed a year-long fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Canada. In addition, he was awarded the AO fellowship at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, Germany in lower limb trauma and reconstructive surgery. His subspecialty interests are in foot and ankle surgery, lower limb arthroplasty and reconstructive surgery. In particular, he is a strong advocate of minimally invasive or ‘key-hole’ surgery.
