Mr Chong Pang Boon is the Chief Operating Officer of National Cancer Centre Singapore, and he concurrently holds the appointment of Deputy Group Chief Operating Officer in Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd (SingHealth). Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the National Heart Centre Singapore and National Dental Centre Singapore.
 
In his role, Mr Chong oversees and drives operational and service excellence. He sets strategies that advance the mission of nurturing a culture of continuous innovation and improvement, advancing operational excellence and developing operational leaders. As a strong advocate of patient-centric care, he shaped the integration of operational and clinical-support services to bring about seamless service and patient experience. Leveraging on his operational expertise, Mr Chong led the transformation of the Shared Security Services that recently saw its transition to a contracting model that is outcome-based.
